Join us at NIST for two days of technical presentations, business meetings and networking opportunities with many of the leading researchers and practitioners in the science and art of light and lighting. All topics within the CIE portfolio will be discussed during these two days — including updates on important CIE activities and plans for the upcoming mid-Session meeting in Jeju, Korea later in October.
The meeting starts with Technical Conference on Oct. 3, followed by a Joint Session on Division reports and business meetings on Oct. 4. There will also be a lab tour of NIST photometry and vision science labs on the afternoon of Oct. 4.
We are still accepting presentation proposals for papers, panel sessions, and posters/demonstrations for the Technical Conference on October 3.

• Please include a title, author(s), and 150-word abstract. If you wish to put on a demonstration, please also include details of the technical requirements.

The fee ($124) includes drinks and snacks in coffee breaks and welcome reception.

$125/night (+tax) is the discount rate for this meeting, including continental breakfast and shuttle service to NIST. We recommend this hotel, but we have no commitment to this hotel, so participants are free to book any other hotel if they like.
Transportation
Nearby airport: Washington Dulles, Washington Regan National, or Baltimore-Washington International (BWI). NIST is 45 ~ 65 km drive from these airports. There is no public transportation except Metro between Reagan National to Shady Grove (near Gaithersburg). NIST shuttle available from Shady Grove statin to NIST.
