2011 Joint CNC/CIE and CIE/USA Technical Conference & Annual Meetings
Join us in Ottawa for two days of technical presentations, tours, and business meetings with many of the leading researchers and practitioners in the science and art of light and lighting. All topics within the CIE portfolio will be discussed — including updates from the Division meetings taking place at the full CIE session earlier in the summer. The meeting starts with a reception on Sunday evening, October 2, 2011, at the Lord Elgin Hotel, 100 Elgin St., Ottawa, Ontario, Canada K1P 5K8. The technical and business meetings will take place a the National Research Council of Canada Institute for National Measurement Standards, Building M-36. Monday, October 3 is the Technical Day, which will combine formal presentations with lab and demonstration tours in the Ottawa area. Tuesday, October 4 is the CIE business day, with a joint morning session to share information about the activities in the seven CIE divisions and separate CNC/CIE and USA/CIE business meetings in the afternoon.
